TREND ALERT! THE DOUBLE SLIT BLOUSE
2:22 AM
Happy Hump Day my lovely readers,
I promised i was going to make up for my late post right? So here is another post.
Na so them bring this blouse say make i buy, In short i have tried so hard to understand this out fit or maybe i am not feeling it yet. But i have learnt to NEVER SAY NEVER.
Now trending is this double slit blouse i have seen on a lot of ladies Dp and also on Instragram i know some of us has seen it too.
I remember wearing something similar in the early 2000, but back then you could rock it with leggings and long pencil skirt.
I also remember sewing something like this using ankara material, then pairing it with a black long skirt or the same ankara but sewn in either skirt or pant

Who remembers what am saying?
What is going through your mind? lol
Here is the question am asking
Got to have it, or make it stop?
I say make it stop *whistles away*

Hehe! This trend is a fashion disaster from my view, its so tacky and unnecessarily daring and reaviling. I mean if I want to show off skin I willl throw on a cropped tee or sheer top but thissssss, nooo! Its screaming cheap sexiness. Funny enough I wore it a while back, that's still my biggest fashion faux pas so far.
ReplyDeleteI say make it stop! Its trashy and way out there. It just doesnt say classy in any way. I think its ghetto fab tho ....... lol
ReplyDeleteso the aim is to show off plenty skin.........
ReplyDeleteI don't think I would wear this really, I hardly ever wear shorts and it doesn't look very pleasing to my eyes, haha. xx

It's a trend that is not really for everyone, it mostly flatters curvy women. I must see someone wearing it on my instagram feeds at least once a day.

I was about to say 'make it stop' but i realised that since i don't believe in wearing swimsuits i could wear this with a shorts on the beach. So it is something i would definitely check out.

Yas yas!! Loving the trend! Totally rocked this a while ago. Can't wait to put it up on my blog! Love the comfy and casual/ laidback feeling.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes I think it was called "igbaladogi" when I was younger. Weird name I know. Lol. Not sure I got the the spelling either. But it was popular years back.
