Hello everyone, how was 'the one day off work?' even though some of us (such as myself) were at work. *sobs*. well either way hope the day was great?
lately i stumbled across an interesting relationship article, so nice a write up i decided to share with you all. Being in a relationship is a beautiful experience but even the best of relationships are constantly a work in progress. So enjoy the article and have for yourself a happy life.
- · God gave Adam, the woman as a supporter, a helper. Therefore, the wife is a co-pilot not a passenger.
- · Control your ego and don’t let your ego control you. When a man’s ego is bigger than his head. It blocks his vision and he won’t see things clearly.
- · Just because you are the man and you feed your family don’t mean you are always right.
- · By default, being the head means you should have final say, but with such authority comes more responsibilities. Your role thus requires you to be more patience, more enduring and more tolerant. To whom much is given much is expected.
- · Women don’t like when a man is too nice or cant take charge. So occasionally you got to put your foot down but intimidation or battering is not the way to take charge.
- · A real man, deletes violence from his marital dictionary. Hitting a woman is a sign of intellectual weakness, an inability to pass your message across verbally, thereby having to use brute force.
- ·
There’s a time to talk and a time to listen. A
time you should just allow her grievances without interrupting.
- · A considerate husband knows his woman and can tell when she’s having an emotional outburst from when she’s bringing a confrontational argument.
- · Wives mean well, but when driven by emotions she could be a bit clumsy presenting their case, not watching the tone of their voice or body language.
- · A thoughtful man knows her intentions are good and therefore overlooks her manner of approach at that point in time.
- · You can’t use someone else‘s script to act your part. People give advice based on their own insecurities. No one can know your wife like you do.
- · The qualities outsider use in assessing you as a great guy is not the same your wife & kids use in assessing you as a caring husband / father.
In a scenario like this, the man, being the captain of the relationship have to bring it back to stability.
Hmmmmm....... Can you relate to this?
xoxo
