Hey Everyone! How was your weekend?

I know, I know, we all don't want the weekend to end lol

But that's why I am here, to make you have a memorable Monday.

Today's post is a little bit of 3 things.

#Taking fashion risk

I have always wanted to style my ankara just like what
we have of Rihanna and I did so yesterday.

I took a bit of fashion risk and wore this but styled it in my own way.

There are some simple rules to follow when wearing such look

#Ensure your shirt fits well.

#For shoe, ensure you wearing either an earth tone

colour or black so as to tone down the look.

#Avoid dramatic lip colour or eye shadow so you

don't look way too busy.

#Ensure your hair is being pulled back or in an updo. We don't want the hair everywhere

#Wear you confidence because you will get a lot of

stare.

So yesterday was my friends wedding and this was
what I wore to the event. I know you love lol..
Let me jist you first. So I got there and her friend/ aunt was doing her makeup and she told me how good the lady was and how she could transform ones face from a girl to a guy am was so waooed.
So I was eager to see what she would do on my friends face . So I observed her work carefully (By the way, I also do make up but for fun not as a business)
After the whole make up thing was done, I wasn't impressed.
I told my friend codely it wasn't fine joor. I wonder
why people seat there and watch a bride go from beautiful to ugly and they all keep saying, "Awww.. you look pretty lol
Really! You all mean.

To cut the long story short, I decided to do her make up and she was so happy. Imagine a photographer complaining about your makeup, you know it ugly lol

So I re did it and also made 3 more ladies up

#whoop

During my wedding, I had a lil too much makeup and I did not like it( that was for the church service)

Thank God my friends were real enough to say "Beauty this is too much"

So we did a new make up for the reception and I was fine and happy with it.

Here is my question, if you find yourself in such situation will you let your friend know, or pretend she is pretty so you don't offend the makeup artist?

Happy New Week Everyone .....

Below is the outfit I wore to church yesterday.

I rocked my off shoulder top on my polkadot skirt and my mercury slip on lol. I love to call it that because of the design it has and it sure does reminds me of mercury.

It's been a while guys... Choi! I have missed you all.

Thanks to every one who checked up on me, I am grateful. You know I won't walk out on you without a good reason.

I will just sum it up in a few lines.

I have been away because, I have been planing my wedding and for those of you who are married know how draining that is. So I have been up and down lagos.

E no easy! As I type this at 6am, I am on my way to lagos island to continue the wedding bant, But I thank God we are 98% done.

You all know I love to celebrate a lot of "about to wed" couple on this blog in our segment called "Wedding Diary"

READY TO WEAR DRESSES

I went to my tailor's shop on Saturday and I saw this gown displayed on a mannequin and I loved it.

So while I was praising the gown my tailor decided that I should rock it and show it off on my blog. This gown is a ready to wear outfit which she made in different sizes.

Ready to wear dresses are dresses already made in different sizes and available for pick up.

You know am not one to show too much skin but I decided to take a little bit of risk by showing off my tailors work but still play safe by throwing in a blazer.

For this look, I wanted to play with colors. So I added some pop of color with my blue shoe and red blazers. I also wore my gold belt with red details, to have a defined waist.
Its amazing how this gown was made with our Ankara fabric
