Happy new week everyone...Recently on instagram I saw some modern fashionable way to tie your gele. So i searched for the name of this gele style and i learnt it is called "Avant Garde Gele"Because I am all about experimenting, I decided to try it out for my friends wedding I went for this weekend and damn I love the result. 

This was not the original way I planned on wearing this gele with my dress, but when I tied it once and I got this style immediately, I was to excited to care if it was too much for the dress or not lol... I sure got a lot of compliments tho.

 Immediately it went up on my IG page and BBM, I got a lot of request from people wanting to know how I achieved it. Remember i tied it once and achieved this. So early this morning I made a video showing how below...

 This is finished look and also my 2nd attempt. Growing up I was the parrot at home, I could talk for Africa lol... that led to my Dad calling me "The Law"

 At age 14 plus when I finished secondary school, it was time for jamb and as usual my Dad was against it saying I was small and yes I was in size lol.. He was scared I was too young so he instead I write only polytechnic exams and go to poly for 2years by then I would be age16. Then I can get a direct entry to the university. Trust mumsy na. .she went behind my Dad's back and bought me my Jamb form.

 In order to make my Dad happy, I filled in Law as the course to read. Really, I never wanted to be lawyer. I had to juggle between school and after school lesson. After school closes by 2pm, I would quickly get home by 2.30pm or their about, shower and head for adult jamb class which was for 4pm and closes by 8.30pm.
 I could Remember my Dad saying my dear if you fail this jamb after coming home by 9pm everyday, pack your bag and go sleep in that school.lolol.... That was his way of saying you better not disappoint me.

 Faster forward to 2016. Did I finally read law?

No! and boy am glad I dint. So here am I reliving my Dad's dream in this look. All dressed up like a lawyer but with a twist. Mehn I had to put a bit of me in the look common! Take a minute an imagine the law firm that will hire me with that hat *raised eyebrows*

Whoever said you can't wear blue and green, has never seen this on me Hehehe...

 Holla!  How are you all doing?This post won't have a lot of rant so please bear with me.

Below are pictures of me mixing blue and green. For this look I wore a green high waist jegens on an off shoulder blue top. I finished the look with my nude shoe. The nude shoe was the best option to balance the look

So here is the thing if you were not with your boo on vals day and he came up with stories just know you the side chick or if your boo stayed with you only during the afternoon and left with excuses. Nnem know you are the side chick oo..so just borow leg waka (hesting up and leave him)

The all black look is my all time favourite look. Tho its known to make you look slimmer and I am on the slim size but who cares lol...  I am so loving the come back of the 90's trend. I think it's one of my favourite time because, there was so much style to choose from and I got to admire all this look on people but I was so young to rock most of then. So you wont be wrong if you say i re-living my dream.

I decided to rock this look out on valentine day with the Hub. Am not a reddy red color girl so wearing all red was a bit hard. Moreover I did not want to add more red to the already color riot

 How was your valentine? Gist me. For this look I simply paired my LBD, with a black pop socks,my black pattern leather shoe and a statement bag.

 For my hair, I decided to comb out my natural hair for a fro look. It was a bit bigger than this when I combed my natural hair. So I had to press it down a bit with my hand because it looked to much for this look. I styled this gown in two ways and below is another way to rock this gown for a more layed back look.

 I am rocking my gladiator sandal here and it is a more comfortable look. If I have to wear an LBD, I mostly have pop socks on because of the length. But if I decide to wear it without one, I ensure I am not wearing any heels just so it doesnt look shorter.

 This post would have been up last week but I was caught in a lot, as my Lil one was down and that threw me off balance. It's crazy being a new mom as I get to learn new things daily.
Happy new week peeps!

 I was gisting with a friend of mine and she was going through her instagram page. The next thing that came out of her mouth was " I dont understand how one will have a lot of clothes" She mentioned a ladies name on Instagram and I am familiar with the lady too. I told her she shouldn't feel bad or even different that she doesn't get to wear all that. Most IG ladies like me as I will love to call them model for a lot of boutiques or clothes sellers. If you notice they tag these clothes sellers so people can go follow them and buy from them. They dont all own these clothes. That doesn't mean there aren't few others who are shopaholic. I basically told her to be contented with what she has.
Well, that isn't my question for the day. I have gotten tired of this so called Instagram fashion handles who give shout out and the only shout out they give mostly is to ladies who are scantly dressed or have the big ass, big hip or boobs and call that fashion.
 Daily I see well dressed ladies who have style and are game changers but they dont get this so called shout out. But if the same ladies are scantly dressed trust me they will get one.
Who agrees?

I remember using a pic on instagram and I said "fashion is about what you are wearing(clothe) and not what you ain't wearing " and I tagged some of these fashion handles that I know do such and guess what? I got blocked by some of them lol...

 just wondering should one corrupt good morals for a shout out?

I really missed taking pictures outside my house. As a first time mom it's really hard juggling alot but we have to keep moving.
 I was lucky enough to have my Sister aka the pioneer lol.. come take me these pictures. Imagine us having a shoot and she had guys buzzing at her all through. Men, the chick could not concentrate that's what you get when you a fine babe na.

I remember when it was a big no no to mix different prints but not any more darlings. Come with me LET'S BREAK FASHION RULES

I love wearing different prints and this was no exception. Here I mixed stripe and polkadot. There are just two simple rules to follow. Well my rules tho.. lol

 * Wear different colors of print.

 *Wear black or earth tone colors to balance the look either as shoe or bag.

 * Mix smaller print and bolder prints together. Don't mix two bold prints at same time. You look too busy .These are my rules, but who says rules can't be broken?lol...

I am still on my 90's trend, so I still have my choker on. The choker gives the look a different look. You can see how one accessory  can change a whole look.
